Effective management and leadership skills are paramount for a Davis County Commissioner, and my diverse experiences have significantly enhanced these crucial attributes. Serving on the Clearfield City Council, chairing the North Davis Fire Board of Trustees for two years, and participating in the Wasatch Integrated Board of Trustees have provided me with multifaceted leadership insights. My tenure on the Fire Board involved pivotal initiatives like transitioning the paramedic program and navigating the challenges posed by the pandemic. Additionally, I collaborated on securing funding for a new fire station in Clearfield. At Wasatch Integrated, I played a role in analyzing the sustainability of the landfill, devising strategies to prolong its life, and crafting a comprehensive plan for the future. My corporate background and work with the Davis Chamber of Commerce further contribute to a well-rounded skill set that can guide both residents and employees of Davis County toward a prosperous future.
