Community Engagement

Community engagement in Davis County is akin to a collective of arrows needed to hit the target of shared prosperity, and it is imperative that we journey towards this goal together. The county plays a pivotal role by hosting outstanding events and investing in projects like the Western Sports Park and the Davis Agricultural Heritage Center, providing excellent venues for community gatherings. To enhance our collaborative efforts, we must improve communication channels. Accessibility to meetings, agendas, and minutes is key, ensuring transparency and encouraging resident feedback. Broadcasting meetings and scheduling them at convenient times for public attendance foster inclusivity. Drawing from my experience on the Clearfield City Council, I am committed to maintaining an open line of communication. Residents deserve accessibility to their representatives, and I will continue to be reachable through various channels, connecting residents with department heads and addressing their concerns effectively. In serving the people, accessibility is paramount.
